Follow this exciting new project from the team at Constructive Home Solutions!
The Ashnola River project is a demonstration build of high performance building structures by Constructive Home Solutions Inc to support research for its Building It Right Education program.
The intent is to create tested and documented options for British Columbia Part 9 buildings as the Province moves up the “Step Code” to create better energy efficiency in single family dwellings.
To reduce the risk to developers and builders withing the Province of British Columbia Constructive Home Solutions Inc is designing livable options that conform and are scalable to current and future regulations regarding energy efficiency.
These designs span from executive style homes to affordable living options. New and re-purposed technologies are being used to conform to Step 5 energy provisions that must be met by 2032 in the Province of British Columbia. The intent of this project is to show that these provisions can be met using current building technologies to create safe and long lasting structures with little or no difference in build costs.
The overall intent is to build and prove out these concepts and disseminate this information to the licensed builders of British Columbia and other interested parties through our Building It Right programs.
